The new 3D noise filter SDNR2 results in a minium illumination of 0.001Lux

Managing noise is the key to achieving great results in low light. The advanced 3D noise filtering system in the camera allows it to provide good color in much lower lighting levels. Reducing noise in the picture also reduces the amount of storage space required to record the video on a DVR.

Super Digital Noise Reduction Technology

When lignting levels are low, SDNR dramatically reduces both random and fixed noise and at the same time produces a high sighal to noise ratio and no ghost effect. An additional benefit of this technology is the reduced file size pf recprded images. A DVR¡¯s recorded file size is reduced by a massive 70% when using a MPEG format and by 40% when using a JPEG format.

Digital Image Stabilizer DIS

The built-in DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) of the PSN-805 removes image jitter that is aused by vibrations in the building. This stabilization greatly reduces the amount of hard disk space required to store images on a DVR. Depending upon the amount of shake, DIS can reduce storage requirements by as much as half even in cameras with no apparent image jitter.

Wide range White balnce processing

The range of lighting conditions for automatic white has been expanded to 1.800°K ~ 10,500°K, enabling balanced implementation of original colors under sodium lights such as a tunnel of motorway.

Programmable Privacy Masking

When the camera is observing a wide area, the captured images can be "masked" for privacy purpose. Users can easily configure the size and position of up to 4 required privacy zones.

Intelligent Motion Detection

The camera is equipped with the internal ability to detect motion in the scene they are viewing. User can easily configure the size and position of up to 8 required zones.
